When a campaignās slogan is āRaising the Gameā you know you need to bring your A-Game to the table when working with them.
In 2014, Coral ran a successful advertising campaign starring actress Carly Baker and impressionist Darren Farley as chip van workers. Throughout the series of adverts the pair worked outside a football stadium selling fish and chips, interacting with supporters and impersonating the likes of Jamie Carragher and Harry Redknapp to ultimately promote the Coral betting app.
When it came to arranging an event, Coral wanted to extend the campaign to their branded merchandising. Taking fairly simple products we transformed them into merchandise fit for Carly and Darrenās customers. Serving the guests from a model of the van used in the adverts, we produced a range which included a classic football style knitted supporters scarf to keep you warm on the terraces and a blue and white golf umbrella to shield you from the rain. At first glance, it also seemed as though we were serving fish and chips, however, once you opened the newspaper printed box, you were presented with a portable Bluetooth speaker wrapped in a Coral branded sticker.
A great success, this work communicated the brands messaging and was the solution to their promotional product needs. Like all our partnerships, our relationship with Coral is based on openness and a willingness to find creative solutions just like this one.Ā
